Ann Gaasch, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Ann is responsible for managing staff toward successful implementation of the organization’s strategic plan. She graduated from Carleton College, going on to earn her Master’s in counseling at St. Mary’s University. She has co-authored a grief support curriculum and has provided trainings on a variety of topics at local and national conferences. Ann currently serves as Vice President of the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities and on the Family Court Enhancement Project. She is passionate about preventing re-entry of youth/families in the child welfare system and was chosen by Alia Innovations / IDEO as a 10 of 10 for Kids Innovator to redesign national practices. Previous positions include leadership experience at Tubman, the St. Paul/Ramsey County Children’s Initiative, The Bridge for Youth and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Anna VonRueden, Chief Program Officer
Anna has worked with FamilyWise since 2013, serving as both the Family Services Manager and Youth Services Manager, as well as becoming a Credentialed Process Mentor in High-Fidelity Wraparound . Through these various roles, Anna has gained extensive experience working with our county and community based referring partners throughout all FamilyWise programming. She has become a well-known leader in the community, representing FamilyWise at the Ramsey County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative , Hennepin County Teen Parent Connection and the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative . She attended UW-Eau Claire for criminal justice and began working with at-risk youth in 2004 within various treatment settings throughout Wisconsin before settling into Wraparound Milwaukee in 2008. She served as a member of the Wisconsin State Juvenile Justice Association for four years and as a supervisor for Wraparound Milwaukee from 2009 – 2013.

Kate Bailey, Chief Development Officer
Kate is responsible for all aspects of fundraising at FamilyWise, from grant writing to special events to donor cultivation. She also oversees organizational marketing and communications, program evaluation, and data management systems. Kate serves on FamilyWise’s Marketing and Development Committee as well as the Data & Evaluation Committee. Kate believes that child abuse is a public health issue and that all people have a role in creating thriving environments for Minnesota children. She is a certified ACE Interface Presenter and in 2015 helped write a policy resolution about the effects of toxic stress in early childhood that was read in the MN House of Representatives. Kate holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Justice and Philosophy.

Bea Pfeiffer, Childcare Services Manager
Bea Pfeiffer is credentialed by the National Child Development Association and has been working in child development since 1997, including being a center manager and lead teacher. Bea also has experience working at teen homeless shelters. She has been with FamilyWise since 1999.

Brittany Seidel, Parent Support Services Manager
Brittany joined FamilyWise as a Parent Educator in our Parent Support Services programs. She later rose to a coordinator position, overseeing cases taking place in Ramsey County. In 2019, Brittany became Parent Support Services Manager.
Brittany graduated with a Master’s Degree from St. Kate’s-St. Thomas’ School of Social Work.

Glorina Fruetel, Supervised Parenting Manager

With roots in relational and systemic beliefs Glorina Fruetel strives to support and encourage families to embrace their unique and authentic selves. She began her journey 20-years ago while working as a Behavior Analyst. Gaining experience in working with families who have children with varied degrees of disabilities strengthened her passion to continue her work with families who are experiencing varied degrees of disruption. After providing 9 years of oversight to Guardians and Conservators she felt the need to further her education and obtained her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her education and experience enabled her to move from her part time position at FamilyWise to the full time Program Manager of the Supervised Parenting Program.

Susie Voss, Youth Services Manager
Susie joined FamilyWise as a Supervised Parenting Visit Monitor in May of 2014. She later went on to join our High-Fidelity Wraparound team, receiving credentialing as a Wraparound Facilitator from Vroon VDB LLC . After achieving credentials from that same institution as a Wraparound Coach in August 2017, Susie was promoted from Facilitator to the Coordinator of our program. As Coordinator, she trained staff, managed referrals and intakes with new families and organized the reporting functions of the program.
Susie became Youth Services Manager in January 2019, overseeing our High-Fidelity Wraparound and Bright Beginnings Young Parenting Services programs. In addition to a B.A. in both English and Psychology from St. Olaf College, she has received training in Motivational Interviewing and worked with Cheryl Jensen of Strategic Consulting & Coaching, LLC on transitioning from direct service to a supervisory role.

Emily Clary, Preventions Program Manager
Emily Clary is responsible for helping develop and coordinate the ACE Interface training and Self-Healing Communities partnership with the Children’s Mental Health and Family Services Collaboratives across the state. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology from Beloit College. She has been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Thinking, Bridges Out of Poverty, MAVA Volunteer Leadership, is certified to administer the Level of Services/Case Management Inventory tool, and has an Offender Workforce Development Specialist (OWDS) certification. She received the Medal of Merit from the National Sheriff’s Association, the Minnesota Jail Programmer of the Year award from the Minnesota Sheriff’s Association, the Robert H. Robinson Service Award from the Minnesota Community Corrections Association, and the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.
Emily is deeply committed to sharing research about Adverse Childhood Experiences and promoting strategies to build resilience and protective factors in communities across Minnesota.
